The LaSells Stewart Center

Austin Auditorium is the largest event space in The LaSells Stewart Center and can accommodate a wide-range of events including live performances, keynotes, general sessions, and large breakouts. This two-tier theater has a large main floor and upstairs balcony with unobstructed sight lines.  

The 1,200-seat auditorium is internationally known for acoustical excellence and has a fully equipped stage, dressing rooms, orchestra pit and high-tech sound system. The auditorium also features a new laser projector for maximum visibility, perfect for stage-sized PowerPoint presentations and high quality videos.

    • 6 located at the front of the auditorium. Please note the ramps leading to these seats are steep and may require extra assistance. Area is also accessible via a less steep north ramp.

Audiovisual Package

For presentations, Austin Auditorium is equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual technology including an integrated smart lectern. 

Standard audiovisual package includes:

• Panasonic Laser Projector (12,000 lumens brightness).
• Rear projection screen - 24' with a 6 inch border.
• Lectern with installed gooseneck microphone and Windows-based PC.
• Smart switches to recognize new devices.
• 4 wireless handheld microphones.
• 2 wireless lapel microphones.
• Installed PA sound system.
• Basic stage wash lighting.
• Presentation slide advancement remote with laser pointer.
• Audiovisual technical staff (1/2 hour).

Stage

Austin Auditorium's stage can accommodate a wide-range of events including ballets, dance performances, musical performances, comedy shows, keynotes, talks and more. The auditorium has unobstructed views of the large stage, which measures 43' 4" deep by 53' 8" wide and houses an orchestra pit. We can customize lighting to meet our client's needs.
