LaSells FFA 2013 Tech

General Information

Each of our rooms at The LaSells Stewart Center are equipped with modern technology, including lecterns with installed Windows-based desktop computers (with the exception of our Weyerhaeuser Boardroom), projectors, microphones, and PA speaker systems. For our room specific audiovisual packages, please see our standard audiovisual packages section below.

University Conference Services partners with Media Services at Oregon State University to support conferences, events, workshops and performances with the most sophisticated audio and visual capabilities. The broad spectrum of technology capabilities offered by Media Services suit any size group.

Wi-Fi

  • Free high-speed, complimentary wireless internet is available throughout our facility.
  • A wired Ethernet connection can be set up upon request.

Computer Presentations

We request that presenters arrive with plenty of time to test presentations on either our equipment or their own devices. If you do not allow time for testing prior to your event, we cannot guarantee that our staff will be able to get your presentation running by the time you need it.

  • It is easiest if you bring a thumb drive with your presentation to upload directly to the installed computer in our lectern.
  • Each lectern does have a VGA and aux headphone cable for connection of personal computers or devices. We carry most of the common VGA adapters for Mac and Windows-based devices, but please bring yours if you have one.

If you are considering video/audio recording your event, we will assist you in making the proper arrangements.

Additional Audiovisual Services

  • We can host web conference meetings such as Zoom or WebEx.
  • We can provide basic audio recordings for an additional fee.
  • While we do not have the ability to video record or live stream in house, we can outsource these services upon request.
  • Please contact us for any additional audiovisual inquiries. We can usually outsource for any of your event needs.
