The LaSells Stewart Center is committed to provide accessibility. The ground floor is fully accessible. Please note that the only accessibility to the balcony level of the Austin Auditorium is by stairs. There is no elevator to this level.

Accessibility Features

Ramps

  • Ramp access to the main entrance is located at 875 SW 26 Street.
  • Ramp access to the north entrance is located on the north side of the building between The LaSells Stewart Center and the CH2M HILL Alumni Center.
  • Ramp access to the front of Austin Auditorium is located on the north side of the building. Arrangements must be made with the office. Please contact The LaSells Stewart Center ahead of time.

Wheelchair entrances and seating

  • Wheelchair accessibility is only on the first floor. There is no elevator access to the balcony area.
  • Designated wheelchair seating is located at the front and back of Austin Auditorium. Please see Austin Auditorium seating chart PDF and view of Austin Auditorium Seating PDF.
  • Please note that the wheelchair seating at the front of Austin Auditorium is accessed via the main entrance, which is steep or the side entrance, which requires the participant to go outside to enter. Please contact (541) 737-2402 to arrange. Wheelchair seating is also located in the back of the auditorium and is floor level.
  • Designated wheelchair seating is located at the back of Construction and Engineering Hall. Please view Construction and Engineering Hall seating chart PDF.
  • All conference rooms are ADA accessible.

  • ADA compliant restrooms are located in the main gallery.

Drop off location

  • You may drop off guests at the loading zone in front of The LaSells Stewart Center located at 875 SW 26 Street.

Assistive listening devices

  • Assistive listening devices are available upon request. We request 24-hour notice.
  • Device will amplify any mic’d sound in the room into a personal headset for use by an individual.

Sign language interpretation

  • Please contact event organizer to arrange. If you are unable to locate the event organizer, we can assist in connecting you.
