These policies/conditions apply to contracted exhibitor groups or individual artist submitting art to an exhibit. All loaned artwork is under contract with OSU.
General terms:

Giustina Gallery reserves the right to use the gallery for other events and art exhibits will occasionally be obscured due to vendor exhibits/events.

Giustina Gallery reserves the right to reject a particular piece of art or to request that it be removed.

Upon submission, the exhibitor/ artist will automatically be added to the gallery art distribution list via email that provides information about upcoming exhibits and opportunities. This includes but is not limited to the Constant Contact e-communications.

The gallery may photograph artwork and identify artist for marketing purposes, digital, video or print. The gallery may also use images submitted by the artist from the art exhibit submission forms in order to create digital art exhibits. The artist’s name, artwork title and medium may be identified.

Exhibitor agrees to follow show submission requirements and provide all requested information promptly. Any exhibitor not providing necessary information promptly may be removed from the exhibition by the curator.

Giustina Gallery will provide art insurance through OSU provider only if all requirements are met. Gallery will not be responsible for incidental and damage due to storage or installation of art. All loans of artwork are under contract and exhibitor agrees to complete the contract promptly. The contract must be completed prior to any artwork being physically delivered to the gallery in-person or by shipment.

Exhibitor agrees to provide secure and professional hanging system for art. Giustina Gallery does not take responsibility for any damage which occurs from art falling due to poor hanging system.

Exhibitor agrees to notify and provide details to the gallery curator of any freestanding pieces for approval. If approved the curator will determine placement and the exhibitor must provide secure stands to be approved by the curator prior to the install date. The gallery's floor space is booked for events, approval of freestanding pieces require evaluation of event use for the duration of the exhibition by the curator and a denial by the curator is final without appeal.

Exhibitor agrees to deliver and remove art per dates and times listed per exhibit contract. All shipping costs are the artist’s responsibility.

Exhibitor agrees to remove shipping containers same day from the facility unless advance arrangements are made.
Sales Terms:

Exhibitor agrees to pay exhibit fees and pay a designated percentage on commissions from sales during the show. In addition, a “finder’s fee” will be charged for any art sold resulting from sale brokerage by the gallery within 60 days.

Giustina Gallery will process sales, artist is responsible for registration online as a vendor to OSU. Failure to complete form may delay payment. OSU Accounting will process payment once registration is complete pursuant to their vendor payment timelines.

All Sales will be handled through The LaSells Stewart Center office. Exhibitor agrees that art may be sold off the walls during the exhibit unless noted on the contract.
Reception Information:

Gallery curator will arrange catering for the reception. Contracted exhibitors will be required to cover the cost of the reception.
