About the Gallery:

The Giustina Gallery is located in the heart of The LaSells Stewart Center. The Giustina Gallery is the largest art gallery in the Willamette Valley at 286 linear feet of art wall space. It proudly hosts upwards of 12 exhibits annually, featuring art of all mediums and representing local, regional, and international visual artists. The Giustina Gallery is recognized for cultivating creativity and building connections among community and artists. The Giustina Gellery's space may be divided between Giustina Gallery proper -181 linear feet art wall space and the Murdock Gallery at 105 linear ft of art wall space. The Murdoch Gallery provides art enthusiasts a unique opportunity to view a showcase of artworks by artist collectives and solo exhibits selected by the Giustina Gallery Curator Suzanne Reed. The Giustna's Murdoch Display Case features artisans and offerings that are refreshed on three-month cycles providing a unique shopping opportunity for collectors.

Between the Giustina Gallery and the Murdock Gallery, there is an area where visitors walking through the galleries can glance through a glass wall to abstract sculpture set among flowers and shrubbery. The Myrtle Tree Alcove space is a great feature within the center that is commonly used as part of  conferences, receptions, and school events.

Collectively, the galleries provide the local and campus community diverse opportunities to view and display artwork. The Guistina Gallery's exhibits are accompanied with a public art reception and create an engaging environment, gathering together communities of artists, art collectors, and art enthusiasts. Murdoch gallery offerings do not include public receptions and may be set on a separate timeline from the Giustina when not combined.
