Group challenges have been an important part of the artistic growth of Loosely Bound, a group of twelve contemporary fiber artists living and working in the local area. Challenges require members to work within limitations while inspiring and encouraging each other to try new ideas, materials, and techniques. It is often a surprise to see how each member approaches and interprets the challenge given.
This exhibit provides a second look at twelve group challenges created in the past ten years.
