The Yaquina Exhibit - A Painted Voice for a Sacred Landscape
Thirty-five years of oil painting by Michael Gibbons
Welcome to a traveling exhibition of 45 plein air paintings from locations in the Yaquina River Watershed of Oregon. Mr. Gibbons has curated 25 additional paintings from the Oregon Gardens, Schreiner’s Iris Gardens and the Central Oregon Coast exclusively for this exhibition at The LaSells Stewart Center.
Born in Portland in 1943 and a fifth generation Oregonian, Michael Gibbons has been actively painting the Oregon landscape for 55 years. He continues working in his signature style to create intimate views of the ever-changing Northwest landscape.
The Giustina Gallery is located at 875 SW 26th St., Corvallis.
Standard Gallery Hours:
Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. (open evenings and weekends based upon events)

We are excited to have you come and view our exhibits. Please note The LaSells Stewart Center is foremost a performance and meeting venue. Sometimes due to large events, exhibit viewing may be impeded. For this reason, we suggest that you avoid June 14. We are closed June 15, July 4 and 5.
