"My Secret Double – an International Exhibition,” featuring the works of artists from the Northwest and the Baltics, will be on display Oct. 1 through Oct. 30 in the Giustina Gallery at The LaSells Stewart Center on the Oregon State University campus in Corvallis.

The exhibit captures artists’ personal journeys during their struggle with addiction or depression, including anger, suicide, fear and loss of hope.

Thirty-nine artists and more than 50 artworks will be represented in the exhibit. The art forms include paintings, fiber, photography, drawing, sculpture and mixed media.

The exhibit will combine both the juried show of Northwest artists and a traveling exhibit from Latvia. The collaborative show will demonstrate that addiction, depression and suicide are global issues, while providing opportunities for connection to community services for those who are struggling with these issues.

The show was jointly curated by Tina Green-Price of the Giustina Gallery and Madara Ladzina of Imago Dei Latvia.
