The LaSells Stewart Center is currently undergoing renovations, which involve updated mechanical systems and roof replacement. The goal of this renovation is to replace systems that are at the end of their lives and improve the energy efficiency of the building. In addition, some interior work will occur, improving the lighting in the lobby and office spaces. As a result of this renovation work, The LaSells Stewart Center will be closed from June 19, 2023, through early October 2023. During this time, there will be no events in this space.

The LaSells Stewart Center is projected to be opened on October 14, 2023, with events resuming soon after.

Will there be concerts and events when you open back up in the fall? Is the construction impacting the conferences and performing arts events? Concerts, lectures and events are already booked for next season. Some of the season tickets you can purchase include performances for Corvallis-OSU Piano International, Corvallis-OSU Symphony Orchestra, Emerald City Jazz Kings, OSU Bands and other concerts.

Will the Giustina Gallery be open for art viewing?
The gallery will be closed until the building reopens. At that time there will be an exhibit available for viewing.

Will LSC be expanded?
The building structure and rooms will basically remain the same with the heating and cooling infrastructure being improved.
